ICE enforcement rapid response in Reno/Sparks?
In some cities, activists have established "Rapid Rsponse" groups to enable people to (legally and non-violently) defend immigrant workers and communities from ICE sweeps and the kind of racial profiling we recently saw in Bakersfield (see https://abcnews.go.com/US/us-border-patrol-arrests-migrants-latest-enforcement-operation/story?id=117515205). Here are examples of Rapid Response networks in San Francisco (https://sfilen.org/resources/sf-rapid-response-network/) and Sacramento (https://www.sacfuelnetwork.org/sacramento-rapid-response-network).
As far as I can tell from online research, there is no such group in Reno/Sparks. The last references that I can find are from 2018: https://noticieromovil.com/reno-non-profit-works-to-develop-a-rapid-response-network-for-ice-arrests/
If there is such a group here and I just haven't been able to find it, I'd like to know so that I and others can support it or join it. (I am not a cop and I hope you can tell that from my comment and posting history here in the group. I was a Kamala campaign volunteer and I'm just looking for a place to put my energy in a positive way.)
