Can I use same container with leftovers for subsequent batches?

As title says.

I made my 2nd batch and turned out good, I scooped two spoons into a new container for that

But when I washed the first container I realized I wasted alot on the edges.

Is it viable option to just leave some at the bottom pour in the milk and use the same container?
