What has your experience been moving to Utah as a non-Mormon with kids in public school? and where do you live?

We are a fam of 4, my kiddos are 4 and 2. We lived in CO for over 7 years before moving back to NJ where we're from originally. After just about 2 years, we miss the mountains, outdoor lifestyle. and considering Utah.

We are considering the suburbs of SLC so we're close to the airport and commuting distance to SLC (currently both remote now). The biggest concern is that we are not LDS and weary about our kiddos being excluded in school for not being LDS.

I've heard a lot of mixed feedback, and hoping to settle the score here. What has your experience been moving to Utah as a non-Mormon with kids in public school? and where do you live?
