Even disgustingly affluent neighbourhoods in European cities have social housing. Older residents are allowed to age-in-place. Low wage workers can live in the community of the same posh coffeehouses and restaurants they work at. And there are rules as a condition of stay.; they're not "crime dens" (estates/subdivisions are admittedly a different story).

Either way, even if they're not perfect, even if I'm overly optimistic about them, it's vastly preferable to the American alternative of encampments on the street, which NIMBYs are equally afraid of.

Please vote 1A to tax the wealthiest corporations in this city to pay for public housing.
