An Interesting Post in Ars Technical on AI and Copyright

My basic takeaway is that the US Patent Office will only consider what you personally contributed to the art as IP, and anything generated by AI is non-copyrightable.
I have a simple solution to this - Suno should allow us to upload the entire sheet music (e.g. by musical, etc) and only provide instrument music, and vocals. This should be an added option.
It would just simplify this whole IP situation, and still allow for us to properly own what we created.
That's what I think... How about y'all? I'm looking for perspective here, not a black-and-white, you own it no you didn't kind of opinion.
