Incoming College Student Thinking About Becoming a Teacher
Hi! I (18F) will be attending college at a liberal arts college this fall, and I have been thinking about possibly getting a minor in education with some other major (likely econ + bio) and then pursuing a masters in eduction afterwards (my college has a special program that helps aspiring teachers get licensed postgrad too). I’ve been working a lot with kids this past year and have found that I really enjoy guiding them, talking to them, and seeing them grow/suceed. I’m wondering if this is enough “motivation”/reasoning to pursue an education degree. Would really appreciate any input, advice, or suggestions from current teachers!
