I miss POV character chapters (writing style)

The POV chapters (The Expanse, Game Of Thrones) adds a little extra as a reader identifying with the character. I really like it and it was the first thing I noticed that had changed with The Mercy of the Gods. Totally understand that writers need a change or a break. Or maybe the POV style is more work. Just expressing that for me the POV is better and I miss it

Because we are introduced to a bigger group of characters faster (The Expanse group was four, Holden arc) it was harder to tell who was who in the beginning. It made the change more noticeable
