Questions regarding recovery

I'm a 23 year old day 8 post op from tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy and am suffering really badly. I have some questions because I'm trying to figure out which is normal part of healing and which isn't. To preface I had to be hospitalized due to uncontrolled pain between days 3 and 7.

I have a really phlegmy cough yet nothing is coming up. Is there any way I can be relieved of this?

I've been having extremely sticky and stringy mucus as well as some migrating scabs that have rendered me unable to breathe from my nose. I have a plan to grab a nettipot later today for some relief, is there anything else I can do?

Due to loss of tonsils/adenoids I keep making weird gargling noises when I speak and have a fear of choking when eating now. Will I grow adjusted to this in the future?

How long before swallowing returns to semi normal?

How am I supposed to 'properly' blow my nose in the meantime? My nose has started showing minor bleeds as a result of the chronic congestion?

Apologies if this seems really stupid, I have rigid thinking and am having a hard time with this one. What am I able to out outside of jello/Popsicles? Would it follow the same line as dentures since they specified soft food? Am I able to eat gritty foods such as grits, eggs, applesauce, stuff with seeds, or am I to avoid these?

Thank you in advance. I'm really suffering and haven't been able to drink/eat much due to severe pain when swallowing hence the hospitalization. Again, I apologize if these seem like common sense, I'm mentally disabled and this whole experience is confusing and embarrassing.
