Should I Break Up With Her?

I’ve been dating this girl for a while—we’re both young adults and started dating late last year. Last night, we had a quarrel. I wasn’t in the mood for sex, and she took it personally, saying it must be because I don’t find her attractive. I assured her that wasn’t true, but she kept insisting that I don’t touch her and threatened to leave, saying she would go home (she was drunk). I asked her not to leave because she’s done this before after small misunderstandings, knowing it upsets me since I wouldn’t want her out on the streets late at night.

Despite my efforts to stop her, she left anyway and texted me, saying she wouldn’t forgive me if I didn’t come to pick her up. So, I grabbed my jacket and went out (it was freezing and around 1 a.m.) to find her at the bus station. When I got there, she refused to come with me. As I tried booking her an Uber, she ran off, and I couldn’t find her. I kept texting and requesting her location, begging her to come back, but she refused and told me to go home. Later, she texted me again, saying she was freezing, so I went out to look for her a second time. When I found her, she still refused to come with me, so I finally left.

After that, she texted me, asking why I would leave her alone. I told her that if she refused to come with me again, I wouldn’t come back for her. She finally agreed to return with me. Once we got back to my place, she got on the bed and started crying. I told her to stop crying and get some rest , but she got mad at me for not joining her on the bed immediately and said i probably would dump her the following day. She started insulting me and even threatened to leave again. Then she called her friend, yelling and complaining about me, saying all kinds of things while still insulting me.

I won’t lie—I was upset, but I stayed calm and talked to her friend about everything. We agreed to work things out together, but as soon as she hung up the call with her friend, she said she was leaving. At that point, I told her I wasn’t going to stop her anymore. She left, and a few minutes later, she began spamming me with texts, saying she regretted everything, apologizing, and asking me to take her back. But I told her I think it’s over between us. She’s still texting me, but I’ve asked her to stop.
