Scenes that a series can never escape from

So with the recent announcement of Gundam's Live Action Movie (finally) going into production.

Let's talk about Gundam Gquuuuuuuux: The Beginning, which i was lucky enough to see half of, in the theater.

Now, given that I don't speak any usable amount of Japanese barring a slim number of words, my entire understanding of the first half of the movie was.... actually crystal clear. So spoilers for that ahead. >! Char discovers the Gundam before Amuro, and with it, he's able to win the One Year War for Zeon.!< Some other stuff happens but this is how it establishes the placement in the Gundam timeline and major players in the plot.

But the other thing it does, with a glorious glorious moving PNG slideshow is the one true constant of the Gundam franchise. (No really the moment is so low quality animated compared to the rest of the movie it's hilarious)

It shows the Operation British Colony Drop. Again.

A scene so closely associated with the series, that even Hello Kitty is guilty of mass genocide with a colony drop too in one of its several Gundam crossovers.

What other franchise constants are out there, showing up whenever appropriate (or not.)

Also, the second half of the movie and the new cast showed promise, what little i got to see due to poor time management.
