Are there people who actually skipped Decker because of Trigger?

So I've seen 1 or 2 posts/comments saying there are people who skipped or didn't watch Decker all because they've experience watching Trigger.

I get that fans opinions towards Trigger is divisive (almost if not all say it's bad) but is that really a good excuse to skip Decker? I personally didn't mind Trigger and honestly Decker improved what Trigger did and even developed Kengo more.

From personal experience, I usually give a series around 5-7 episodes to see if it gets me invested or not. I know opinions differ but what do you guys think? I do wanna know why people drop a series even if they especially those who haven't watched the first episode.
