DeathMarch isn’t difficult it is Perfection
I’ve played The Witcher 3 at least five times, including all the DLCs, but this time I decided to go for platinum. That meant finishing the main story on Deathmarch. I’d never tried it before, and honestly, I was intimidated. My first fight in White Orchard against wolves made me think it was impossible.
But once I focused on alchemy—actually upgrading potions and oils—it completely changed the game. Monsters felt dangerous, prepping for battles was exciting, and soon I was tearing through bosses so easily I had to double-check I was still on Deathmarch.
Now, I’m convinced The Witcher 3 is best played on Deathmarch. It’s how the game was meant to be experienced, and I can’t believe it took me nearly ten years to figure that out.
