Checked baggage flying international
I have a question when checking in baggage with AC flying international. I remember reading a posting similar in r/aircanada but I can't find the post.
The email I received from Air Canada said I could bring two bags without a fee but when I checked in at the AC counter, I was denied even though the email said I can bring two bags. Anyhow, I paid the fee for the second bag but will request a baggage refund from AC.
I'm flying back from HKG to YVR, and then YVR to YYC and I'm afraid I will be denied the second bag. Would showing a copy of the e-mail at the ticket counter prevent the charge for the second baggage? Any suggestions are appreciated.
