I'm fucked. Broken front sight
I decided in my infinite wisdom about a year ago to buy a fiber optic front sight. Reviews were good. Tried replacing it today. It bent. It bent a lot. I think I'm going to need a whole new front sight block. I'm very upset about this. I can't even undo it. I just fucked up my thousand dollar rifle because I wanted to cheap out on a sight a year ago. If anyone has advice I'll take it. Please don't call me an idiot I'm well aware of that fact. I'm in NJ too so it's not like there's going to be a local smith experienced with this shit. Please if possible send me a link to what I need to do and buy to replace this. Fuck man my day is absolutely ruined.
Edit: I appreciate the help you guys have given me. I got it to where only the bottom is keeping the drum in place. The drum is going to be replaced and I'll go from there. I'm going to let my gunsmith take a crack at it. Once it's out I'm confident in getting the new drum in and new sight in on my own, but am somewhat limited with tools to get the old one out. Hope your guys days/nights go better than this. Feel free to continue to comment and hopefully this might help people to decide not to buy whatever cheap ass fiber optic shit I got off Amazon, order your shit from a real gun/gun accessory company (cheap dots for .22s excluded, those tend to be ok enough)
