I found a broken pendulum

A couple months ago I randomly found a broken pendulum? on a train, I took it because it's tigers eye and that is my favorite crystal. At the time I wasn't very into witchcraft, so I didn't think anything of it. Nothing bad has happened yet I'm just wondering if it was a bad decision to take it, and if it was, how I can dispose of it respectfully.
