Keep it stupid simple. You can’t go wrong with a rough list like this, but if you can find some secret deals and you know what you’re doing, maybe there’s a better option. But for smooth brains who don’t know, this is good enough.

<$400: your wasting your money.

$400-$650: (1) PSA

$650-$850: (1) S&W M&P 15 Sport 3, (2) IWI ZION, (3) Ruger 556.

$850-$1000: (1) PSA lower w/ BCM upper. Wait for BLEM for much better deals.

$1000-$1200: PSA + BCM again, but feel free to get nicer lower/upper based on your desires/use.

$1200-$XXXX: (1) BCM, get whatever you want for whatever role.
