Please get a lid if you haven’t already (RIP)

My boy that I got in November sometime jumped out in the middle of the night and I didn’t find him till the next morning. He was basically mummified unfortunately. I had another betta, Hades, before this who never jumped but I knew they could and yet I still did not get a lid. I feel so bad I loved this guy so much, he was so cool and he didn’t bother the other inhabitants though I’m sure he took a juvenile/baby shrimp or a couple..

Anyways I bought a lid today and also got a flame gourami and just learned they have a chance of dying from dwarf gourami iridovirus so that’s nice… let’s hope for the best.

GET A LID!!! It won’t happen to you until it happens to you and it may be too late!!
