Walking from Downend to Parkway?

I’ve recently moved to Downend.

Occasionally I need to be in London for work. I get the train. From my old house, it was a 45-minute walk to Temple Meads, but from my new house, It’s more like 90 minutes. It’s a pleasant walk, but makes for an early start on a workday.

Google Maps reckons Parkway is quite a bit closer to my new house. But it also looks like the walk takes in a lot of the M32. Should I continue walking to Temple Meads as it’s a pleasant walk, or is Downend to Parkway actually okay?

Context: cycling/driving/taxis/lifts are not an option. I walk to the train station.
