Charging for tanking: A tank's perspective

For context I am probably the best geared tank on Nightslayer-US. Rank 11, both pieces of wrath, the full might set, band of Accuria, Ony neck, Bonereaver's Edge, don Julios, literally bis in all slots.

I don't need any gear at all from any dungeon. So, I wouldn't be tanking them at all if I wasn't incentivized to do so.

You know what I do need though? Raid consumes. As a guild tank I spend roughly 100g (or more) on consumes for MC each week. And warriors don't have awesome gold farms available to them, but there's rla tank shortage.

What you get in my runs is a tank that tops the dps meter (even over mages in aoe packs), takes comparatively little damage, knows every pull, and doesn't roll need on anything.

Most of my customers are either: - Rogues looking for gear in places like Scholo or Strat who add all casters DPS to the group - Early level 50s players who want BRD quest runs - People after a very specific item and have had trouble farming it

^ If you saw Shadowcraft Hood on the AH for 40g, that'd be a great price, right? That's kind of similar to what we are doing here.

It works for some people who are happy to get the carry. I get it if it isn't your thing but, don't hate because of it, it's just a supply and demand thing.
