New keeper questions!

(pic for attention) To be clear, I don’t currently own any snakes I just want to be prepared for when I eventually do get a corn in a couple months. I was wondering if it would be okay to get a 5x2x2 enclosure or larger right off the bat and have a baby or juvenile snake grow into it? My only experience is with geckos and for them I prefer to size up over time in order to have complete and consistent proper husbandry as well as younger lizards being able to find their food easier. Is “too big” even a concern in terms of baby/juvenile corn snakes as long as there’s enough clutter and branches to keep them from being exposed or stressed since they get tong fed and aren’t scavenging for food like geckos? If this route was possible, do they get “bored” and need enrichment or a change in enclosure items/setup once a yearish or do they do best when their home stays exactly the same? Sorry if these are dumb questions but I want to cover all possible ground to ensure my future baby has a good life with enrichment!
