best anti-theft GPS tracker for new bike?

Hi all! looking for a GPS tracker to use for my bike in case it's stolen. i've read a lot about the Airtag, but if it were stolen, wouldn't the thief get a notification saying there's an unknown airtag traveling with them? sounds counterproductive to me, if true, so just wanted to check to see what you all do.
