DD2, are bleed comps just bad?
Everytime I try and make a bleed comp it just flops. There's just too mich working against them imo.
Bleed trinkets just seem to come few and far between, and many if them require you to hold something very spesific like net or bonesaw instead of just a Noxious or flammable. They may even want you to be bleeding.
Bleed res seems to be higher in general for enemies. On top of that, Heros don't seem to come with bleed res piercing without combo. Heck warlord straight up has 100 bleed res.
Bleed attacks are all so fussy. Hellion either winds you or require positioning and are fussy over rank. Riposte is unreliable, harvest is okay, but doesn't even cause bleed in a bleed path and it's hard to justify single target bleed moves that have no res piercing. It's hard to want to take PD slice, Hellion Bleed or open vein over the big standard reliable skills. I'm not sure there is even a bleed to hit rank 4 outside riposte.
I'm hoping in the path reworks bleed becomes a little more viable. I'd love to see Abomination path with some bleed synergy, perhaps receiving buffs per bleeding target or being able to lower enemy bleed res.
