Spent the last hour trying to find a source claiming it takes a year for your adenosine receptors to recover and I can’t find anything.

I also cant find a source suggesting that your brain creates more adenosine receptors and this is the precise reason for an increase in caffeine tolerance.

I also notice a lions share of users of this sub describe themselves as very anxious and would like to point out that anxious people are typically ultra aware of every little symptom they feel. I feel like telling high anxiety individuals that they will not be themselves for at least a year is sort of a stumbling block.
