The Pacific States should Join Canada

Washington, Oregon, and California are all blue states. I think these states should join Canada (or Mexico) and preserve the I-5 Corridor as a tariff-free goods distribution zone. Canada and Mexico will have direct access to each other, States that join Canada will get universal healthcare, 1 year of parental leave, and the many many other benefits Canada offiers.
