Will Quagmire and Brian ever bury the hatchet?

The Quagmire-Brian feud never used to be a thing at all on Family Guy. In the early seasons, Quagmire was fond of Brian and had zero problems with him, then all of a sudden in the newer seasons, this intense hatred Quagmire has towards Brian just came absolutely out of nowhere. At this point, the feud has gotten even more overdone than SpongeBob continuing to not get his license. In my opinion, the gag has just gotten very old and they should just finally bury the hatchet already. Do you guys think the show will ever make them bury the hatchet or do you think the show will just endlessly continue the gag as long as it stays on the air?
