What's a good compact flashlight with high lumen output?

I'm looking for a small EDC light that I can carry on my belt or in my pocket. Doesn't need to have a super far beam length, but it does need to be bright enough to light up the area around me and scare away badies. I don't absolutely need any extra modes like strobe, moonlight, or red/blue light. I really just want an easy to use, one handed light, with at a high setting.

I tried out a Sofirn SC33 "5200 Lumens" which was definitely bright enough for my needs, but too big to comfortably carry on my person. I also tried the ThruNite Ti Pro "1012 Lumens" which was a great size and good enough brightness, but I hated the twist activation and it was really inconsistent on brightness levels.

Here are my preferred requirements:

  • Length less than 4"
  • Diameter the same or smaller than POM Pepper Spray (7/8")
  • Physical button (not twist activated)
  • Max output higher than 600 lumens (the higher the better)
  • Has a belt/pocket clip (I don't need a keyring)
  • Ideally, less than $30 (trying not to break the bank before the holidays)

I've scoured this sub, YouTube, and Amazon but didn't find exactly what I'm looking for. I appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
