Absolute best ballpoint pen for an FP user, regardless of price?

Good evening everyone.

As the title suggests, what is everyone's thought on the best ballpoint pen for a fountain pen user, regardless of price? Does any ballpoint write "juicier" than others? Or is it all cosmetic since they are cartridge-based?

I own a 114 Mozart, a couple STD Classiques, a 149 I never use due to size, and the odd assortment of the usual suspects...

I don't like uber-large pens, hence the 114 over the 149. I also prefer caps that naturally post, as opposed to pressure fit like the 149.

I was looking at a Graf von Faber-Castell, but for the price, I'm trying to make sure I cover my bases on any competitors you think I might need to try first.

I understand the argument for "carry a G2 and your 114", but I don't mind paying for craftsmanship...
