Is it really that bad living in Germany?

I have started questioning my decision ever since I started reading Reddit posts.

As a non-EU, I am currently living in Finland for 2 years(due to my masters studies), and now I have an PhD offer from Germany, specifically Dresden, that I kinda want to take the opportunity because of the topic.

Ever since I started reading about Germany here in reddit, I started questioning the decision. I mean I get it, people can have bad attitudes from locals or others but I cannot really understand if this is really the case for Germany. Every country can of course have its good or bad sides but I didn’t encounter one single good thing about Germany here in reddit.

Besides racism and such, what can you tell about Dresden? Or specifically, is it worth to move to Germany after living in Finland?
