Is nanoKVM considered safe?
When it first came out, a lot of people expressed concerns about it being from China and closed source. The dev made a comment that it would be open source if the git received 2,000 stars or 10,000 sales. They are over 2,000 stars and it looks like they made an update saying it is open source. I know very little about this stuff so I tend to rely on the community for these things. Is it considered a safe option as a very cheap KVM to have on my network? Has anyone caught it phoning home, or have any specific reason it should be avoided?
