Diversity Equity and Inclusion certificate needed to succeed in DEI field??

Hello I'm pretty new to the HR world, I have my aPHR and would like to focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. I'm looking into getting a certificate in DEI but I'm not sure if that will help me because I think experience is more important than a certificate. Plus some of the prices of these programs are a little steep. Any advice on which school to get the certificate or not get a certificate at all?
