Can you hide a hard drive from the government?

You're given a hardrive containing some essential national security data. Information the government will do anything legal to recover (they will have no trouble getting warrants) . They don't know who has it, but they will figure that out in 12 hours.
If they find the drive they will charge with treason, but they can't touch you if they haven't found it for fear of the contents being revealed. You can't destroy the drive and you need to make sure you can recover it a future time With your 12 hour headstart (you're at home), where/how do you hide it?
