19yo looking for advice
I have white a few questions so even if you have answered to just one or a few of them that would be amazing.
Currently doing a 10 month internship in Belfast but am an Irish citizen. Should I bother opening an ISA account. Have heard great things about it and was thinking of just withdrawing all the money from it and converting it to euros when my time here is up. I know there won’t have been any major growth whatsoever but still. What do u think?
Have my emergency fund settled. Was wondering if I should opt in to my workplace pension or set up a private one in the republic. My main concern is being able to transfer my pension form UK to Ireland once my time here is up. (Aviva btw). What do u recommend?
What are some other ways to make my money work for me besides pension that I can’t touch until I retire. Would love to put it in S&P but CGT and DD are discouraging. Got some adobe earlier that said put it in something that replicates an ETF like the JAM. What are your thoughts.
Any other general finance and wealth advice appreciated. Books too. Also don’t worry, I am not overly consumed in this and understand I’m still young, I value making experiences etc but would like to be financially stable
