How safe is Joburg for Black Vs White Tourists

Not sure if this has been asked before but here goes:

So im a black man from the Caribbean considering solo travel to Joburg this year and I want to know: is there a difference in vulnerability being in Joburg CBD, Hillbrow, Sunnyside areas based on your race.

Ive never been to South Africa but ive heard about these areas and imagine they are majority Black population.

Will I blend in easier as a black Caribbean man or should I be just as afraid as a blond hair blue eyed American/European?
