Have the mosquitoes here gotten faster?

I've been living here for the past year and whenever I try to kill a mosquito now I feel like a fucking dumbass. I don't know if I just got shittier at killing them but I remember I used to destroy those motherfuckers like it was nothing whenever I came to visit. It would take me like a week of my stay and I'd get my rhythm down, and then I could like kill them literally while half asleep. Like i'd be lying in bend and hear their fucking buzzing and snipe it out of the air while barely awake. I'd even get like two/three in a row if they were around me. I don't know what the fuck has been happening in the past four years, but one can fly around my hand and I'll still miss like 50 times in a row. It's been making me feel like an idiot.

Anyone else have any input if these mosquitoes (south kolkata) have just gone super saiyan or I just became super incompetent?
