I genuinely believe Kpop-Reddit has never heard of the term “Hyping Up“ Idols

Saw yet another post about Blackpink not being the best female rappers like blinks say they are yet again on this sub and I just couldn’t help but roll my eyes.

Now, I don’t know what type of feed you have on Twitter, because on mine I ALWAYS see stans hyping up their faves calling them “kings/queens of kpop”, “kings/queens of the (x) gen”, “vocal/rap” king/queen”, etc. And 9 times out of 10, they don’t take it THAT seriously, but oH nOoO here come the Redditors who gives us these 1000 word essays on why “so and so isn’t good at ^{blank^} like so and so’s fans say.” Like, what else do you expect from fans of that specific idol or group? How much they’re ass at it? Look, we know that our idols aren’t THE BEST but you don’t have to make a whole ass unpopular kpop opinion submission or a rant just over fans giving praise to the artists they like. Make it make sense.
