Karla Sofía Gascón no longer followed by the Oscars on X

Turns out the star of Emilia Perez running for Best Actress has a lot of highly problematic tweets, from insulting the Oscars to her costar Selena Gomez, to racial and political tweets on black people, Muslims, and immigrants, including (surprise surprise drum roll...) a lesbophobic tweet about Miley Cyrus:

"Sharing an article about Miley Cyrus and her ex, Kaitlynn Carter, Gascón wrote: “Boy, poor Liam [Hemsworth], this is what happens when the National Family Front forces you to marry a mustachioed man,” she said.
“Even if with this evil, horrible, unnatural, lesbian perversion, they’re going to hell,” concluded the cryptic message."

It's been a long time since I've seen a high profile public person speak like this of women loving women (Miley is bisexual, not even lesbian). There is no way a cis woman speaking like this would ever make it to the Oscars nominations for a groundbreaking role.
