MacBook Pro died!

My MacBook Pro (2017) just died. Battery won’t charge. Trying to decide on a MacBook Pro (M4) or wait for the MacBook Air (M4) when released. Pros/cons of waiting for the Air or buying the pro now. I know the pro is about $300 more. Thanks!!
