Possible to take major specific classes without majoring?
I was told in high school that college would be a place to explore your options, and I'm someone who's really interested in a lot of things.
I want to explore law, psychology, math, physics, writing, history, and a million other things. There are some intro classes I can take, but certain classes have restrictions on them for people in that major.
I really want to just jump into a very specific class with no bearing on what I'm doing, and no commitment for further classes. I want to switch majors at some point, but I have no idea what to switch to.
How can I take more interesting major specific classes, even if they don't help my degree requirements? Can I talk to an advisor or something about this?
