Creami Deluxe died, can't get the bowl out! Help! FLASHING E
Edit: i cracked the machine open because after 16 hours it was still blinking E3 and the bowl stuck. It was definitely grinding on itself, there's metal shavings in the unit from the shaft mechanism it looks like by the wear. The entire pinion system is locked, I absolutely cannot get it out. But after it sitting out 16 hours, I don't want it anyways. Went over to a neighbors and used their regular non deluxe model to make a smoothie and it's very clear my machine was defective from the start. I expected it to be loud, but I didn't realize that the sound I was hearing was abnormal.
My replacement unit is in a storage trailer, on the back of a semi being moved 2900 miles cross country right now, so I can't test it to see. Hopefully this replacement one doesn't have a problem with half thawed fruit and liquid water. I basically use it to make low fruit lemonades, occasionally I freeze the liquid to make water ice. 1 out of 100 times will I respin after its frozen, i like the texture when I use a spoon in my mug kind of like sno cone ice where as the creami kind of smooths it out and makes it silky.
IF i blend the frozen product i follow the manual. I add liquid as required, I wait 15-30 minutes and I use jello and eryth as the sweetener to raise the freeze point so its not quite as solid. I also often give it a 30 second spin in the microwave. So my machine, is not being abused. I'm not running it dry. I'm also not going to put pudding powder in water ice, that's gross.
Ninja CS confirmed the unit was previously serviced, for what appears to be the same issue. I wish I could have kept the bowl/blade but it's STUCK so I cut the cord and put the entire thing in the garbage can.
Hope my new machine works well. I am impressed by ninja CS but I'll never buy a refurbished item again. Next up.. the slushi. It was released like two days after i bought the creami. 😆
