The “definitive” live version of Wonderwall

Wonderwall live at knebworth 2022 might be the version that sounds most like the original record. It’s not necessarily the best but definitely the closest. It has so much. The bass guitar and drums, the strings, Noel’s arpeggiated lead guitar on the pre-chorus and Liam is singing slightly softer than usual like the record. I think I still prefer the Maine road 1996 version but it’s missing the electric guitar and is played too quickly. It’s impressive how much detail from the original tune Liams band were able to put into a live performance.
