How often y'all build PCs? Once every few years? Every 5? Has the gap between builds become larger over time?

The last time I built a proper gaming PC for myself was 2020, and it's certainly feeling like it's been a while, but at the same time it still handles games like a beast. This seems unusual to me, because at 5 years out, I used to notice hitting performance walls, but that hasn't happened at all to me this time around.

Do you have any certain cadence for new builds? Key factors that make you decide to pull the trigger to build one?
