Does anybody else think Chrysa’s character is kind of unsettling?

Something I’ve noticed while watching Journeys is that Chrysa (One of Prof. Cerise assistants) makes me feel kind of uncomfortable whenever we get to know something about her, let me explain:

First it was during the eating contest episode, in which she seemed to be a BIG fan of that Blaziken, to the point of fangirling over him. Honestly, at that moment I just felt that she liked Blaziken and the sport, and hell, she is a scientist, so she must love Pokémon, so I rolled with it.

Things however took a bad turn during episode 57, the Psyduck episode, where I saw some red flags. First, She leaves alone, no family nor couple in sight. Of course, you don’t need to really live with someone to be healthy, but the way her place is so dirty, messy, and she seems to not care about it, those could be signs of some mental issue or disorder. And certainly obsessing and collecting everything related to Psyduck because of that one Psyduck who helped you that one time you felt down during college doesn’t help either!

I don’t know, maybe I am looking things the wrong way, maybe the show is trying to present Chrysa as a work oriented woman who really likes Pokémon, can be messy but otherwise kind and good hearted, but I am seeing a workaholic lonely lady with mental issues and a very unhealthy obsession with some supernatural animals.

Does somebody sees it the same way? I know it’s a cartoon we are talking about, but she kinda freaks me out.
