Kettle temp control fix
A little while ago, I posted that my Timemore fish kettle was boiling over from the spout when set above 95 degrees.
There is no obvious cause and it works fine otherwise.
Since then I’ve seen several others with different kettles post the same, so I guess it just happens.
Anyway, I’ve found a fix that works for me - set the temp to 90ish, let it come to temp, then set it up to the higher temp you’re aiming for and heat again.
Something about doing it this way - I guess letting off some of the pressure or something- has allowed me to heat above 95 without any boiling over.
Hope this is useful to some of you
