Trick for getting a pour shot

Thought I’d share my set up for a pour shot. Final image is a composite of the pour plus the main.

People always ask about what camera and lights to get but forget about all the misc tool required that aren’t camera gear. For this shot alone I needed gloves for handling product, mat sprat to cut down on reflections, quality fake ice, glycerin spray for condensation, sticky tac to keep objects in place, coins to level objects, plinths and risers, gray card for color matching, and more I’m probably forgetting. Product photography is 10% pushing a shutter and 90% set up and post production.
