Moving from Los Angeles

I am considering moving from Los Angeles to providence. The reason for my move is I have just been offered a career opportunity out there. I am in my mid twenties and I really enjoy the city life with the mix/option of being able to go out into nature whenever I like that la provides. Will I get the sam satisfaction from providence/RI? How much of RI is actually just suburbs of there are any other transplants or just people that wanna talk to me about RI I would greatly appreciate it.
