Construction contact
So there's some construction on my street. I contacted my leasing office yesterday because the crew was absolutely blocking the entrance into my area's parking lot (there's about 12 units sharing this lot), to the point I had to yell (so they could hear) to move the backhoe so I could go home from errands, and glad I had the day off because they continued to block the entrance until almost 7pm.
At one point I went out to get something out of my car and one of the construction guys said "park down the street so we don't have to stop working and move" ....excuse me? Mf there's only one way to-from my house and you're blocking it! I can't park down the street because you have no where for people to walk to get into the lot so I'd have to walk over the uneven ground across my neighbors yards which is not safe for me.
Also my partner wfh, so he had to call out because the noise was so loud he couldn't work. With notice he could have gone into the office, not suddenly jackhammers an hour after he punched in.
The leasing office said the construction isn't from them and they didn't recieve notice there would be construction until people started calling about the noise and blockage, so I should contact the city of Raleigh.
I looked at the list of construction projects on the city website and...there's nothing listed on my street. There is a water main project listed for a block away that started last month, but thats the closest thing.
Does anyone know where or how I can contact someone about this? I can't call out of work on account of a backhoe refusing to move
