had a flashback of an incident that somewhat colored my college sexual experience as an elder millennial woman in a pre-Me Too era

it was 2008, I believe. this band/punk house in my college town ran a blog style website that detailed each resident’s casual sexual encounters in the style of a blind item. there were ratings and a lot of allusions to farm animals, from what I recall. it was honestly fairly funny but also incredibly cruel

I only discovered this after randomly sleeping with one of the dudes during a party. I think my rating was 4 out of 5 (I believe) but I have completely repressed the details of the review I’m guessing due to severe embarrassment and shame. I also have not thought about this probably in at least 10 years

can you imagine this happening today (maybe, now) lol. but this is the kind of shit that preceded the pop feminism (the jessica valenti, jezebel type etc) explosion of the 2010s
