Consumer packaged goods make me a little nauseous

For those who aren't familiar, the term "consumer packaged goods" (CPG) pretty much means any product that we buy and use until we need more. Like food, toiletries, whatever.

But when you hear people say CPG now it usually refers to whatever weird startup for fancy packaged products like artisan fruit snacks, $90 boxes of cookies, or a $50 hand sanitizer set. I'm sure a lot of these products are pretty good but idek dude if you're at the point where your spending this type of money on, ultimately pointless shit, you're just at a vapid level of consumerism that makes depressed as hell. Or maybe just jealous that I don't have the income required to even consider buying some of this stuff.

It's just for bird-seeing-shiny-object brained people who like catchy marketing and brightly colored packing about "decolonizing your ice cream" or whatever. Bleak
