Lost a great employee due to workplace drama, gossip and mean girl crap.

One of my best servers just quit today due to drama and gossip happening in the restaurant. She was so upset because of the way all the other staff members were treating her.

Obviously, workplace drama and gossip happens everywhere, but more so in restaurants.

How can I combat this? Is there even a way to minimize it? Any advice is appreciated.
