Faster 3d6 DTL alternative

When it comes to generating characters, 3d6 down the line for stats is great. My problem is that my dice roll a lot of farmers (i.e. no stats 14 or higher). So, after playing with some different methods, here's how I generate character stats quickly while keeping the spirit of 3d6 down the line intact.

• Roll 1d6. The corresponding stat (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma) gets a 14 (+2).
• Roll 3d6 down the line for the other stats.

This way, I don't have to reroll when I roll all 8s through 12s. I can generate lots of characters for a funnel fairly quickly with this method.
